Calculating C&F (Cost and Freight) quotes allows exporters to bundle shipping costs into unit pricing while allowing buyers to arrange their own transit insurance.

What is C&F (Cost & Freight)?

Calculating C&F (Cost and Freight) quotes allows exporters to bundle shipping costs into unit pricing while allowing buyers to arrange their own transit insurance.

Formula

C&F Price = FOB Unit Price + Ocean/Air Freight Cost per Piece

How to Calculate

Add unit freight charge (total shipping cost divided by order quantity) to the FOB unit price.

Example

FOB Price = $6.50, Freight per Piece = $0.45 → C&F Price = 6.50 + 0.45 = $6.95 / pc.
