Carton Calculator — Calculate Number of Cartons Needed for an Order

This tells you how many cartons are needed to pack a full order, based on how many pieces fit in each carton — a basic but essential step in shipment and packing planning.

What is Carton Calculation?

This tells you how many cartons are needed to pack a full order, based on how many pieces fit in each carton — a basic but essential step in shipment and packing planning.

Formula

Cartons Required = ROUND UP (Total Order Quantity ÷ Pieces per Carton)

How to Calculate

Divide the total number of garments ordered by the pack quantity per master carton and round up to the nearest whole integer.

Example

10,000 pcs at 50 pcs/carton → 200 cartons exactly. 10,005 pcs at 50 pcs/carton → 201 cartons (the last carton is only partially filled).

Frequently Asked Questions

The tool still counts a full extra carton, since a partial carton is still a carton — plan your last carton's fill quantity accordingly.
