Production Capacity Calculator — Estimate Daily Output Across Lines
This estimates the total daily output a factory (or a group of lines) can produce, scaling a single line's target calculation across multiple lines.
What is Production Capacity?
This estimates the total daily output a factory (or a group of lines) can produce, scaling a single line's target calculation across multiple lines.
Formula
Per-line hourly = (Manpower × 60 × Efficiency%/100) / SMV Daily Total = Per-line hourly × Working Hours × Number of Lines
Assumptions
This assumes every line has the same SMV, efficiency, and manpower — real factories often vary this line by line, so treat this as a planning-level estimate; for line-specific accuracy, calculate each line separately using the Production Target Calculator.
How to Calculate
Multiply operators by 60 minutes and line efficiency percentage, divide by SMV to get hourly output per line, then multiply by shift working hours and total number of lines.
Example
5 lines, Manpower=30/line, SMV=0.75, Efficiency=60%, Hours=10 → 72,000 pcs/day.
